Mr. Quresh Merchant
Founder
Mr. Quresh Merchant has been an industry stalwart for over 40 years. During Mr. Merchant’s tenure, Safe Tools Mfg. (Import & Export) Co. has grown from a small cutting tools business to a global importer and exporter of Tungsten, Carbide and Cermet cutting tools. Mr. Merchant has successfully forged relationships with several well-respected brands in the industry and continues to serve the global market.
Mr. Merchant has also created a culture of corporate social responsibility where he has been instrumental, as the President of his Rotary club, in leading initiatives such as polio immunization drives, funding learning supplies for local schools etc. Mr. Merchant is a generational leader with a passion for helping people in every sphere.
Mr. Taher Merchant
Director of Sales
Mr. Taher Merchant joined the company in 2005. Since his arrival, he has played a major role in leveraging our solutions based approach to meet the needs of a growing market.
Mr. Taher Merchant frequently travels to tradeshows across the world and stays in touch with the latest trends in the industry. Mr. Taher Merchant graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce majoring in Quality Management (Six Sigma) and Marketing Strategy.
